Terms of Use

Welcome to Eventbuzz.live! These Terms of Use ("Terms," "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Organizers," "Attendee," "you," or "your") and Eventbuzz.live ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing, browsing, registering for, or using our website, mobile applications, web applications, and event management services (collectively, the "Service" or "Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue using Eventbuzz.live.

1. Account Registration & Security

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account or organize events on Eventbuzz.live.
  • Account Integrity: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are fully responsible for all activities, ticket sales, and content associated with your account.
  • Unauthorised Access: You must notify us immediately at support@eventbuzz.live if you suspect any unauthorized access or breach of account security.

2. User & Event Content Ownership

  • Your Content: Event Organizers retain full ownership of all logos, text, imagery, video, agenda details, and materials uploaded to their event microsite or mobile app ("User Content").
  • License to Host: By uploading content to Eventbuzz.live, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, process, and distribute your content strictly for the purpose of operating and rendering the Services.
  • Anonymised Data: We reserve the right to generate and use aggregate or anonymized platform performance metrics to improve Eventbuzz.live features and reporting.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Platform Ownership: All source code, platform architecture, user interfaces, branding, graphics, and proprietary features of Eventbuzz.live are the exclusive intellectual property of the Company.
  • Restrictions: You agree not to:
    • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of Eventbuzz.live.
    • Frame, mirror, resell, or re-license the platform without explicit written consent.
    • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices displayed on our platform.

4. Code of Conduct & Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not use Eventbuzz.live to stream, host, process, or transmit any content or engage in activities that:

  • Are unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, or harmful to minors.
  • Infringe upon any third party’s intellectual property rights or privacy rights.
  • Involve spamming, phishing, distributing malware, or launching automated scrapers/bots against the platform.
  • Circumvent or attempt to bypass security or authentication features of our software.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts immediately without prior notice if we determine a breach of conduct has occurred.

5. Payments, Subscriptions & Refund Policy

  • Pricing & Plans: Eventbuzz.live offers single-event licenses and recurring subscription plans. Plan details, feature allocations (e.g., Attendee Credits), and pricing are outlined on our official pricing page.
  • Payment Terms: All fees are due upon subscription purchase or event setup. Third-party transaction fees or bank charges incurred are the responsibility of the subscriber.
  • No-Refund Policy: All payments made to Eventbuzz.live are final and non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separate enterprise service agreement.
  • Subscription Expiration: Upon expiration or non-payment of an annual or monthly plan, app functionality and access to admin portals will be paused or restricted.

6. Data Hosting, Privacy & Compliance

  • Server & Hosting Location: All event database tables, user files, registration data, and application assets are securely stored on cloud server infrastructure physically located in Mumbai, India.
  • Data Privacy Compliance: We comply with applicable Indian data protection regulations (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act / DPDP) and global principles like GDPR.
  • Role of Parties: Event Organizers act as Data Controllers for their attendees’ personal information; Eventbuzz.live acts as a Data Processor. Further information is detailed in our Privacy Policy.

7. Platform Availability & Service Level Agreement (SLA)

  • Service Availability: We strive to maintain high availability (target uptime of 99.9%) for our cloud services.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Eventbuzz.live may occasionally be unavailable during scheduled maintenance windows. Whenever feasible, we will notify Organizers in advance.
  • Force Majeure & Outages: We are not liable for service disruptions caused by third-party cloud infrastructure failures, Internet service provider (ISP) outages, denial-of-service attacks, or acts of God.

8. Third-Party Integrations & Payment Gateways

  • Eventbuzz.live integrates with third-party software (e.g., Stripe, Razorpay, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoom).
  • We are not responsible for the performance, policies, or service failures of third-party platforms. Your interactions with third-party providers are governed by their respective terms and conditions.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EVENTBUZZ.LIVE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE COMPLETELY ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR ABSOLUTELY SECURE AT ALL TIMES.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL EVENTBUZZ.LIVE, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL) ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO EVENTBUZZ.LIVE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Eventbuzz.live, its affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or legal fees arising out of:

  1. Your violation of these Terms.
  2. Your User Content or the management of your event attendees.
  3. Your infringement of any intellectual property, privacy, or statutory rights of a third party.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
  • Jurisdiction: Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. When changes occur, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of Eventbuzz.live following any updates indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
